CDM has a team of certified glass and glazing contractors, factory-trained, code specialists and we're fully insured. Our professional installation team are qualified to perform every aspect of code compliant, impact resistant window and door installations. At the end of every install project we also coordinate a final inspection of each window and door by the local building code office. We make sure every installation meets and exceeds local building codes and passes every inspection. And, we make the process even more convenient, by providing bucking services as needed.
CDM offers complete permit processes for a nominal administration fee. This process includes:
• Floor plans showing all windows and doors to be replaced
• Product approval documents
• Window calculations
• Notice of commencement
• Engineering drawings and calculations (additional fee if required)
To ensure every CDM window and door we install pass all inspections,
we create a detailed book of drawings for your project, including anchoring, elevations, cross sections plus all of the other important information the builder needs.
Every CDM drawing is sent for code review and once approved, we distribute multiple sets to everyone working on your project. We feel this helps make sure nothing slips through the cracks and that everyone is on the same page—literally.
With ZERO obligation, CDM offers free on-site estimates for all residential impact resistant window and door solutions. We understand that every architectural project is unique, so we always listen, discuss every detail, and offer solid advice before we share our estimate. This means our professional on-site estimates are more accurate, and less susceptible to change throughout the course of a project. This also means less challenges and greater success with time and budget expectations.
